I promised to help other women if I made it through…

In 2017, I started to experience depression. I was familiar with and felt like I had learned to manage years of anxiety, but this feeling of sadness was something new. Compared to anxiety, it felt like this was something I couldn’t handle.

After exploring therapy, supplements, meditation, and many other avenues, I learned I had a pretty major hormonal imbalance causing the depression. During my journey, I promised myself that I’d help other people if I made it through this heavy and dark period. Once I came out of the fog and finally felt light and happiness again, I made it my mission to help women.

Jump ahead to experiencing 4 years of infertility, IVF treatments, and postpartum depression after the birth of my son in late 2022. Thankfully, I’d had years of therapy to prepare me for this possibility, but it didn’t bring me out of the darkness right away. As a woman, our bodies are each so unique. Our hormones and health need more personalized care than what is offered in our current system. Thus, the Well Woman was born. This website is a one-stop resource where I share everything I’ve learned, void of trends and fads, with a focus on holistic wellness and Western healthcare when necessary. This is a community where women no longer need to feel lost or overwhelmed when it comes to feeling better and thriving, no matter what stage they’re at in life.
